For Dental Practices
AI Voice Receptionist for Dental Practices in the GTA
DeskAgent is an AI voice receptionist built for dental practices in the Greater Toronto Area. We answer new-patient calls 24/7, qualify them with the questions your front desk would ask — insurance carrier, type of procedure, urgency, preferred times — and book appointments directly into your existing Google Calendar. No PMS integration required, setup takes 7–10 business days, and there are no long-term contracts.
Built specifically for dental clinics across Toronto, North York, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, and Mississauga — with multilingual support for the patients you actually have.
The Problem
Every unanswered new-patient call is roughly $500–$1,000 walking next door
Industry research on small-practice dental offices puts unanswered inbound calls at 20–35% during business hours, and close to 100% after hours. The average lifetime value of a new patient at a general dental practice in Ontario is well above the cost of capturing a single one of these calls, which is why a receptionist solution that scales to 24/7 has become standard for practices that take growth seriously.
New-Patient Calls
Captured with the same intake fields your front desk would ask — insurance, procedure interest, urgency.
After-Hours Inquiries
Evening, weekend, and holiday calls answered the same way they would be at 10am on a Tuesday.
Front-Desk Overload
Multiple lines ringing? DeskAgent answers in parallel so no caller hits voicemail because the desk is busy.
Recovered Ad Spend
Every Google Ads click that ends in voicemail is wasted spend. DeskAgent answers them.
What We Capture
Every call lands in your Google Sheet, structured the same way
Out of the box, every DeskAgent call is logged as a row in a Google Sheet you control, and a calendar event in the Google Calendar you choose. No new dashboard to learn, no extra login. The default field set for a dental practice:
The data lives in your Google Workspace, under your account — not ours. Your front desk opens the same sheet they would otherwise type into manually, and works the follow-ups in the morning.
How It Works
From sign-up to live in 7–10 business days
We map your practice
Hours, providers, services, fee guidance ranges, intake script, escalation rules, and any do-not-book scenarios.
We configure the agent
Voice, accent, opening line, branching logic, and the appointment slots it can offer. Everything is calibrated to your existing call recordings.
We run a calibration pass
You and your office manager call the live agent with edge cases. We tune until you sign off.
You go live
We route your after-hours line (or full-time line, your call) to DeskAgent. Captured calls flow into your Google Calendar and Sheet from day one.
Hear It
What DeskAgent sounds like on a real dental call
A real test call of Iva, our AI dental receptionist configured for AIMS Dentistry, handling a new patient booking a first appointment with Doctor Pearl.
In production, every captured call is written to a Google Calendar event and a structured Google Sheet — full name, phone, doctor preference, date and time slot — configurable per practice.
Integrations
Works with the dental tools you already run on
Out of the box, DeskAgent writes every captured call into your Google Calendar and a structured Google Sheet — so most single-location practices can go live without touching their practice management software at all. For practices that want tighter integration with their PMS, we offer custom connections during onboarding.
Google Workspace
Confirmed appointments are written directly into your Google Calendar. Every call, including no-shows and fallbacks, is logged in a structured Google Sheet your team can monitor in real time. No new software to install.
Dentrix Integration
Henry Schein Dentrix is one of the most common PMS systems in Canadian and U.S. dental offices. We can build a custom connector that pushes new appointments and patient records into Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend during onboarding, priced as an Enterprise add-on.
Curve Integration
Curve Dental is a popular cloud-based PMS used by forward-looking practices. We can sync DeskAgent's captured appointments and intake fields into Curve via its API, scoped during the discovery call.
Run a different PMS? Tell us during the demo and we'll scope a custom connector as part of onboarding.

Privacy & Compliance
Your patient data, your Google Workspace, your control
DeskAgent is designed around PIPEDA principles and the patient-information rules under Ontario PHIPA. We capture only the fields your practice authorizes during onboarding, and the captured data is written into your Google Sheet and Google Calendar — under your Google Workspace account, not ours. We sign a written service agreement with every dental practice that documents data handling, retention, deletion, and incident response. We do not store medical records, and we do not act as a covered entity under U.S. HIPAA — if your practice serves U.S. patients and needs a Business Associate Agreement, please raise that during the demo.

Common Questions from Dental Offices
Does DeskAgent integrate with our practice management software?
Out of the box, DeskAgent writes captured calls into a Google Calendar event and a structured Google Sheet your team can monitor in real time. For practices on Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Curve Dental, Open Dental, ABELDent, Tracker, or other PMS, deeper integration is possible as a custom add-on; many of our dental clients start with the Google-based workflow and add PMS sync later if they need it.
Is DeskAgent compliant with Canadian dental privacy law?
DeskAgent is designed around PIPEDA principles and Ontario PHIPA. Captured data lives in your Google Workspace under your account, not ours, and we sign a written service agreement with each practice covering data handling, retention, and deletion.
What does the AI capture from each new-patient call?
Caller full name, callback phone, email if offered, insurance carrier, type of procedure, urgency, preferred days and times, language preference, new-or-returning status, and how they heard about you. The exact field set is configured to match your practice's intake script.
How long does setup take for a dental practice?
A standard single-location dental practice is live in 7 to 10 business days. We map your hours, services, fee guidance, intake questions, and booking rules, then run a calibration pass with you on real test calls before going live.
How much does it cost?
$397 CAD per month for a single location with 200 included call-minutes, plus a one-time $500 setup fee. Multi-location practices use the $798 plan with 600 included minutes. Additional minutes billed at the end of the month. No long-term contracts.
Will the AI sound robotic to my patients?
No. DeskAgent uses current-generation conversational voice models that handle interruptions, accents, and natural pacing. We always recommend the agent identifies itself as DeskAgent on first contact, both for patient trust and to align with consumer-protection norms.
Can it handle French, Mandarin, or Punjabi?
Yes. DeskAgent supports French, Mandarin, Cantonese, Portuguese, Spanish, Tagalog, Hindi, Punjabi, and a growing list of additional languages. The agent detects the caller's language on the greeting and switches automatically.
What if a caller asks something the AI doesn't know?
The agent never invents medical or pricing information. It captures the caller's name, callback number, and a one-line summary, and routes an immediate notification to the office manager so a human can follow up.
